


YKH Consulting, LLC was engaged to provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for the development of a state-of-the-art, three-story, 77,000-square-foot cancer center. This cutting-edge facility was designed to house advanced diagnostic, treatment, and research areas, with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and operational efficiency. YKH Consulting worked closely with architects, construction teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure that the MEP systems seamlessly integrated with the building's overall design.
The HVAC system was meticulously engineered to provide precise temperature and humidity control essential for sensitive medical equipment and patient care environments. Energy efficiency and sustainability were prioritized, incorporating modern systems to meet stringent environmental standards. The electrical engineering scope included designing a reliable power distribution system, specialized lighting solutions, and a robust backup power infrastructure supported by a 1,250kW diesel-powered generator to ensure uninterrupted operations for critical medical equipment and services. YKH Consulting also developed plumbing systems optimized for high-demand medical applications, including sterilization systems, medical gas distribution, and water conservation features.
Throughout the project, the team applied its extensive expertise to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and building codes while delivering a functional and efficient facility.
