YKH Consulting, LLC provided innovative mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services to transform a historic 250,000-square-foot Coca Cola bottling facility—originally built in 1947—into a dynamic, three-story mixed-use development. This adaptive reuse project repurposed the aging industrial space into a vibrant community hub featuring multifamily apartments, coworking spaces, retail, and dining areas. Working in close collaboration with the design and construction teams, YKH Consulting navigated the challenges of preserving the building’s unique historic character while integrating modern, efficient MEP systems. Their tailored approach ensured that every aspect of the transformation met contemporary performance standards and building codes, creating a seamless blend of heritage and modernity.

The engineering team implemented a state-of-the-art HVAC system designed to provide energy-efficient climate control and superior indoor air quality across the diverse program spaces—from residential units and collaborative work areas to bustling retail and dining environments. The electrical design featured upgraded power distribution networks, advanced lighting solutions, and smart control systems tailored to the distinct needs of each zone, ensuring optimal functionality and ambiance. Additionally, the plumbing system was comprehensively reconfigured to incorporate water-efficient fixtures and an optimized wastewater management system capable of supporting high occupancy and commercial operations. Through these integrated MEP solutions, YKH Consulting, LLC played a pivotal role in the successful conversion of an iconic industrial landmark into a modern, multi-use facility that now serves as a vibrant community asset.
