YKH Consulting, LLC provided expert mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for the conversion of a one-story, 17,000-square-foot warehouse into a modern facility featuring a 5,000-square-foot office and a 12,000-square-foot oil waste tank rehabilitation shop. In this project, YKH Consulting collaborated closely with the client and design team to repurpose the existing structure, ensuring that both the office and industrial rehabilitation areas met current standards for functionality, safety, and energy efficiency. The team conducted a detailed assessment of the building’s existing systems, then developed innovative solutions to adapt and enhance the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure to support the mixed-use environment.

 

For the office space, the HVAC system was reconfigured to provide comfortable, climate-controlled zones ideal for administrative operations, while the electrical systems were upgraded to deliver efficient power distribution and modern lighting solutions. In the oil waste tank rehabilitation shop, specialized mechanical systems were implemented to manage heavy industrial processes, including robust ventilation and exhaust capabilities designed to safely handle fumes and contaminants. Additionally, custom plumbing solutions were engineered to accommodate industrial drainage and wastewater management, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
