YKH Consulting, LLC partnered with Gros, Flores, Positerry to provide complete mechanical, electri- cal and plumbing engineering design services for Phase 2 of the Barker Hall facility. This project introduced a brand new state-of-the-art practice facility designed specifically for the football players and women’s soccer team. The facility has an innovative open-air roof design with all-weath- er, designer lighting underneath. Attached to one side of the roof are essential amenities including restrooms, facilities, and storage areas. 

The restroom and storage facilities are equipped with a cutting-edge VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system, guaranteeing a comfortable temperature environment for athletes. The electrical  design includes an energy-saving power distribution system, all new circuits and wiring, emergency lighting and designer features for a polished look.
