YKH Consulting, LLC provided expert mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for the design of a new 51,600-square-foot, two-story medical facility. This state-of-the-art healthcare center features 18 exam rooms dedicated to primary care and a range of medical subspecialties, as well as an advanced laboratory and a full radiology suite equipped with MRI capabilities.

The HVAC system was designed to provide precise climate control, critical for maintaining sterile conditions in exam rooms, laboratories, and the radiology suite. Special attention was given to air filtration and pressurization to enhance infection control and meet healthcare standards. The electrical design included reliable power distribution for sensitive medical equipment, advanced lighting systems for optimal visibility, and a robust backup power solution, with the entire facility supported by a 750kW diesel generator to ensure uninterrupted operations during power outages. The plumbing systems were engineered to accommodate medical gas distribution, laboratory water needs, and patient-friendly restroom facilities while integrating water conservation measures.
